A great way to save money on your childrens Halloween costumes this year is by the use of printable Halloween masks. You can find your childrens favorite heroes and characters and not pay a high price of store bought Halloween costumes.
There is no better way to have fun with the holiday than to allow your child to create his or her costume that they can personalize. It is a fun project for you and your child to do together and the printable Halloween masks will serve as an excellent addition to your child’s costume.
All you need for the printable Halloween masks is a printer and a computer. Simply search through various images online until you find exactly what your child wants.
After searching and finding the perfect mask, you just have to right click on the image and decide where you want to save it on your computer.
Now that the image has been saved to the computer, simply send it to your printer. First make sure that you have sized the image so that it fits the printer paper. Once you have printed the image out, you will need to cut it out.
Once you have finished with those steps you will want to punch a small hole of each side of the mask. Use a string, piece of yarn, or an elastic band and secure each end to the holes in the mask. This will allow your child to wear the mask hands free.
For children that tend to get irritated by the string around the head, you can skip that part and simply glue a popsicle stick to the bottom front of the mask. This way, your child will be able to hold the mask up to his or her face and remove it whenever its needed or wanted.
